That Week Just Gone

Well lets start with the good news.

After the crazy, earth shattering mistake of speaking with the small one about getting a puppy… she seems to have let the subject drop.

For how long?

We’ll see I guess?

Adulting fail.

“We should clean this blanket”

Was the start.

It turns out using a hosepipe to clean a blanket isn’t the way to do it, but it is the way to see how heavy a water logged blanket can be.

Still annoyed at The Government

A six pound per week pay rise for nurses?

Apparently that “is the most we think we can afford” – according to a government minister.

I wonder what we can afford?

What if a nurse was to quit, and go and work for Priti Patel? Who appears to bully people so much, the government puts up a load of money to make the problem go away? Not for the first time

What about that 350 million that we apparently could send to the NHS instead of the EU?

Perhaps the nurses should all put their payrise together, buy a pub near Matt Hancocks place, they’d probably get more money in the long run that way?

And not forgetting the world beating test and trace system, which apparently costs £37 billion. Oh and it took a week to track one dude down, Thank goodness we didn’t get a cheap one.

Next week: The kids are back in school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
